I have been a “girly girl” since I could first voice my opinion on the matter. As a toddler, I would only wear outfits if they had flowers or sparkles on them and I insisted on being in dresses most of the time. I don’t usually do gift guides but this year feels different– with the pandemic, the stress of the election and everything else going on in the world, I think we could all use some sparkle, coziness, and frivolity. So without further adieu, here is my gift guide for the girly girl. Click on any item to shop it and make sure to check the bottom of the post for separate links to items from some of my favorite small shops:
Felix Doolittle– absolutely the most beautiful, customizable paper goods. I have their return address stickers and book plates and they’re true works of art.
Lycette Designs– my favorite needlepoint shop for both beginners and seasoned needlepointers. It’s truly a Grandmillennial’s haven.
Weezie Towels– the softest, chicest, customizable towels. We have their hand towels (as seen here in our powder bathroom) and makeup towels and I hope to upgrade all of our bath towels to Weezie in the future.
Hillhouse– If you own a nap dress, you know. If you don’t, you should get one.
Erin Donahue Tice Fine Art– I adore Erin’s abstract, colorful paintings set in more traditional homes. The juxtaposition is simply stunning.
Estelle Colored Glass– this black, female-owned business carries handblown stemware and cake stands in the most exquisite colors. I have my eye on a set of blush champagne coupes.
So wave au revoir to the cluster-you-know-what that was 2020 and treat yourself or your favorite gal to one of these glorious treats! I carefully selected each item and am certain that any of them would make the perfect gift. I hope you enjoyed my gift guide for the girly girl!
